The Agile University

Our work in higher education leads us to believe that the complexity of the organisational challenges faced by individual institutions and the sector as a whole requires a strategic, systemic response that avoids the linear and mechanistic approaches which so many in HE distrust and fear.   The potential responses to the challenges facing the HE sector are by no means pre-determined.  Despite the funding and policy constraints there is still room for constructive management choice in shaping the future of individual institutions.

Elementa Leadership is proud of its significant, ongoing relationships with a number of UK HEIs covering all of the mission groups.  We are committed to the future of UK Higher Education as central to the development of both a better society and a better economy.  We believe that HE is critical to the success of the UK's knowledge and innovation economy and it is essential that HE is sustained, protected and encouraged to flourish if the UK is to achieve its economic and societal goals.

TESTIMONIAL

" The approach to whole system strategic planning that we used with the support of Elementa Leadership has been invaluable. It simultaneously allowed the development of a clear sense of direction owned and developed by all, including stakeholders, which continues to inform our decision making. It also provided a more rapid change process in relation to integrating disparate groups of individuals, teams and cultures than could have been achieved by structural change alone."
